Diving with a Purpose and the Hunt for Sunken Slave Ships

Kamau Sadiki is the President of the National Association of Black Scuba Divers and a lead instructor with Diving with a Purpose. He is part of the team that discovered the Clotilda, the last ship to carry slaves to the USA. Gabrielle Miller, an archaeologist specializing in the African Diaspora, is also involved with Diving with a Purpose. Together, they highlight the importance of diving for historical research and awareness of the African experience.
